Ii is all change at this
year's Rye Flower and Vegetable Show with Rye Allotment
Holders Association taking over the running of the event.
Former Rye In Bloom chairman Lorna Hall will still be involved
in the event , which is held at Rye Community Centre on
the first Saturday of September.
Lorna stepped down from Rye In Bloom due to her commitments
as a Rye councillor and committee chairman.
Lorna said: "The Allotment Holders Association were
the obvious choice to take over the running of the event
as their members have been keen participants in the show."
Royston Godwin, from the Allotment Holders Association,
said: "We are pleased to be running the event.
"We have appointed two members, Adam Smith and Nigel
Jennings, to take the lead and they will be working closely
with Lorna Hall."
