(WHAS11) - A local flower
shop is badly damaged after a fire broke out. It happened
at Victor Mathis Florist at 25th and Bank Streets in West
Louisville.
Fire officials say when they arrived there was heavy fire
and heavy smoke, much of it in the greenhouses. Luckily,
firefighters were at the firehouse close by and were on
the scene within just a minute preventing further damage.
They say the greenhouses appear to be a total loss. Officials
are still investigating the cause of the fire. No one was
inured.
