daffodils and jonquils have been planted in heavy concentrations.
Among the annual displays:
• March 7-8: Camden Daffodil Festival in the southern
Arkansas city of Camden features three self-guided garden
tours, two drive-by tours and a cemetery walk.
Other activities range from an arts and crafts show to a

• March 9-10 and 16-17 (estimated dates): Wye Mountain
Daffodil Festival at Wye Mountain United Methodist Church
in Perry County about 30 miles northwest of Little Rock.
The small country church has nurtured a field of daffodils

• March 14-16: Jonquil Festival at Historic Washington
State Park, a historic village in southwestern Arkansas
in the tiny town of Washington.
Thousands of jonquils, which are similar to daffodils, bloom
on the property each March while craftspeople and entertainers
welcome visitors.
The park is about 9 miles north of Interstate 30 near Bill
