Grapevine police were investigating a
fatal crash on Freeport Parkway near Patriot Drive Monday.
A 17-year-old Flower Mound resident was pronounced dead
at the scene after his 1994 Mazda MX3 struck a tree and
a commercial building, police said. The teen’s name
has not been released.
The vehicle was traveling eastbound on Freeport Parkway
when it veered off the road and struck the tree.
Police said they are still investigating the matter.
