Crews are trying to figure
out what started a fire that burned down a Gordonsville
flower shop early Friday morning. It happened on Main Street
at the Colonial Florist.
Two people lived in an upstairs apartment but escaped without
injury. The Red Cross is helping them find a place to stay.
The building dates back to the nineteenth century. The florist
has owned it since the 1970s. People who live nearby say
the fire was most likely caused by a lightning strike. |
