The Conrad-Sunrise chapter
of the American Hibiscus Society will host a free Hibiscus
Flower Show and plant sale Oct. 26 at Mounts Botanical Garden
in West Palm Beach.
The show will be held in the auditoriums of the Clayton
Hutcheson Agricultural Center at 531/559 N. Military Trail.
Scheduled events for the show include the public entering
blooms in competition from 9 to 11 a.m.
Membership in the American Hibiscus Society is not necessary
for a person to enter.
From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., there will be a plant sale of grafted
hibiscus. One-gallon plants will be sold for $15 and a limited
supply of three-gallon plants will be available at $22 each.
From 1 to 4 p.m., there will be a hibiscus flower show.
