At 6 p.m. tonight, the elves,
hobbits, fairy princesses and gentle giants of this year’s
Fairy Tale theme go back to wherever they came from and
The Rhode Island Spring Flower and Garden Show leaves the
Rhode Island Convention Center for another year.
Until then, you can appreciate the care and talent of the
gardeners, stone masons, fountain makers and other craftsmen
and women, stroll through the garden marketplace, and breathe
in the scents of spring. A full lineup of lectures and demonstrations,
including ones on rose care, tree and shrub foliage and
global warming in New England, are planned.
Admission is $16 for adults, $14 for seniors and students,
$7 for children ages 6-12, free children under age 6.
