Mean-spirited thieves have tarnished efforts to brighten up two Middlesbrough streets.
Residents of Falkland Street and Kildare Street spruced up their neighbourhood for the festive season by planting more than 100 flower tubs.
But within days of the tubs being placed, four of them were stolen by heartless crooks.
It is believed the thieves used a vehicle as the plant pots are quite heavy.
