ANNVILLE — A Main Street
business has changed its name.
The Flower Garden is the new name for the business that
had been known as Darcy’s Flowers and Balloons for
the past 17 years. The business is located at 125 W. Main
St.
Eileen Hoover, who owns the shop with her husband, Nevin,
said although the name has changed, the business will remain
unchanged.
“Everything else is the same,” she said. “Same
owner, same merchandise, we’re just changing the name
after quite a few years.”
Hoover said the previous owners ran the shop for 11 years
before she and her husband bought the business six years
ago.
A new sign was put outside the shop Thursday night.
“We wanted to keep the name for a while,” she
said. “We needed a new sign, so we felt now is the
time to change it.”
The shop’s primary product is fresh flowers but it
also sells balloons, planters, and gourmet snack and fruit
baskets.

The Flower Garden is open Monday through Friday from 8:30
a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
