City Council members will hear a request to make the iris
Waxahachie’s city flower Monday.
David and Pat Smith are on the agenda after their request
letter was filed by Parks and Recreation director John Smith
(no relation). The request was accompanied by a letter of
support from Nancy Fenton, president of the Ellis County
