AN anonymous Hunts Post reader, touched
by a letter from a Huntingdon widow whose flowers were stolen
from her late husband's grave, has sent a £20 voucher
to replace them.
Recently-bereaved Kelly Palmer, of Garner Court, wrote to
the paper in January to say how distressed she had been
that her Christmas floral tribute had been taken from the
grave of her husband, who died last year, aged 45.
A note that accompanied the Flower Patch voucher said it
was "a token gesture from one also suffering bereavement".
The donor added: "One day, the person responsible will
regret their actions."
Mrs Palmer said:It is very nice to know that there are still
some very kind and good people in this world, and I would
like to say a very big thank you. I'm sorry I can't do so
personally, because I don't know whom to thank.
